- Who are we gotta choose?
- How much do we know about the subject's background?
- Spend some time to talk to the person or hang out with him/her in order to understand/research him/her better.
- What interest us the most of this person? What do we want to show the audience?
- Do we have some P.O.V of the person that we wanna prove during the shooting period?
- How to make him/her feeling comfortable and willing to reveal more of himself/herself with us, and our camera?
- Where and when?
- What kind of style should we use?
- Use the right cinematic languages.
- Do we have to reveal our presence in the video work? I mean, do we actually have to show the audience that we are involved???
- What if the person is an experienced interviewee? == What if he/she keep giving us some "self-promoting" answers?
- We must be flexible enough to adjust our shooting styles and attitudes according to the subject matters...We can't let them mislead our direction!
